What your child makes孩子会做出什么
This is the studio's engineering class in disguise. Kids sort through salvaged hardware, work out what can be a head, a limb or a joint, then assemble a standing robot mounted on a wood base — with a name plate if they want one.
这其实是工作室里"披着手作外衣"的工程课。孩子从回收零件里翻找，判断什么可以当头、当四肢、当关节，然后组装出一个立在木底座上的机器人，想要的话还可以刻个名牌。
Along the way they run into real problems: it tips over, the arm is too heavy, the head will not sit straight. Teachers coach through the fix rather than doing it — balance, counterweight and joint strength are the actual lesson.
过程中会遇到真实的问题：站不稳、手臂太重、头装不正。老师不会代做，而是引导孩子自己解决——重心、配重和关节强度才是这堂课真正在教的东西。
How the session runs课堂流程

Raid the parts crate翻零件箱
Ten minutes of pure hunting. Kids collect a tray of parts before any building starts.
先给十分钟纯粹地翻找，凑齐一托盘零件，再开始动手。

Sketch the robot画草图
A rough drawing on the build card — deciding proportions before glue saves a lot of rebuilding.
在制作卡上随手画个草图。先定好比例再上胶，可以少拆好几次。

Assemble组装
Cold-set adhesive and wire for kids; the low-temp glue gun is teacher-operated only.
孩子使用免加热胶与铁丝固定；低温胶枪一律由老师操作。

Mount and name it装底座、起名字
Fix the robot to its wood base, add a name plate, and give it one working joint if there is time.
把机器人固定在木底座上，加个名牌；时间够的话再做一个可以活动的关节。

Are the parts sharp?零件会不会割手？
Everything in the crate is deburred before it goes in, and gloves are on the table. Filing and any hot tool work is done by a teacher.
