Kids in this neighbourhood have plenty of places to be tutored and very few places to build something. We opened a craft studio instead of another classroom: no levels, no grading, no worksheet at the end. Just eight crafts, a table, and an hour that belongs entirely to the person making the thing.
这个社区里补习的地方很多，能真正动手做东西的地方却很少。所以我们开的是手作工作室，而不是又一间教室：没有分级、没有打分、结束时也没有练习卷。只有八个手作主题、一张桌子，和完全属于创作者本人的一小时。
The crafts we chose all share one thing: a child can finish one in a single visit and hold the result. That matters more than it sounds. A finished object is proof — of an hour of patience, of a decision made and stuck to, of something that did not exist this morning.
我们挑的这些手作有一个共同点：孩子来一次就能完成一件，并且能拿在手上。这件事比听起来重要。一件完成的作品是一种证明：证明有过一小时的耐心，证明做出过决定并坚持下来，证明这个东西今天早上还不存在。

Demos are short. Within five minutes of sitting down, every child is holding a tool and working on their own piece.

No corrections不做"纠正"
We help with technique — a joint that will not hold, paint that needs to dry. We never redesign a child's idea to look more like the sample.
我们只在技术上帮忙：接不牢的关节、还没干的颜料。绝不会为了更像范例而改掉孩子的想法。

Sessions run in whichever language the table prefers, and often in both at once. Grandparents are very welcome to sit in.
课堂语言按桌上孩子的习惯来，中英混着讲也很常见。非常欢迎爷爷奶奶一起来坐。

Small enough that a teacher notices when a child is stuck before they announce it.

If a piece needs ten more minutes and the room is free, it gets ten more minutes.

Grown-ups welcome家长也可以做
Sitting with your child is free. Wanting your own project is normal, and we will set you a place.
陪坐免费。家长自己也想做一件很正常，我们会给你摆一个位置。

- 🔥Hot tools高温工具Irons, glue guns and the clay oven are operated by teachers only, at a separate station away from the tables.熨斗、胶枪和烤箱一律由老师在远离桌位的独立工作台操作。
- 🧼Between sessions场次之间Tables, tools and aprons are cleaned after every class, and aprons are washed daily.每堂课后清洁桌面、工具和围裙，围裙每天清洗。
- 🥜Allergies过敏Tell us when you book. We do not serve food, and we can swap materials in most classes if something is a problem.预约时请告知我们。工作室不提供食物；大多数课程也可以更换材料。
- 👀Drop-off policy寄放规定Children under 7 need an adult in the studio. Ages 7 and up may be dropped off for a scheduled session.7 岁以下需有家长在店内陪同；7 岁及以上的预约场次可以由家长送来后离开。
- 📷Photos照片We never post a child's face without written permission from a parent.未经家长书面同意，我们不会公开孩子的正面照片。
Who is at the table带课的是谁
Sessions are run by craft teachers with hands-on studio experience, working in English and Mandarin. Every teacher is background-checked and trained on our own safety routine before they run a table alone.
课程由具备实际手作经验的老师带领，可用英文和普通话教学。每位老师都通过背景审查，并完成我们自己的安全流程培训后，才会独立带一桌。
